Braidwood & District Historical Society is the custodian of an extensive archive of local information, including a significant collection of primary source material. You can see a selection of these on our Resources page.
Our resources are available to researchers and family historians in our Reading Room during museum opening hours, or by appointment. Access to the Reading Room is free; however, as we are a volunteer-run organisation supported entirely by community generosity, we welcome donations to help maintain this service.
In the first instance, write to us at help@braidwoodmuseum.org.au and we will let you know if we hold any relevant information.
If you are unable to visit the Reading Room in person, we have professional researchers who can assist you.
The charge for this service is $50 per hour and will usually take approximately 2-4 hours.
